Jemma Cartland

Jemma completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Newcastle and has since worked as a physiotherapist in both sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and paediatric disability physiotherapy over the past 5 years.

 

Jemma has experience in private practice, hospital, and community settings, and has worked in Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, the Central Coast and Sydney. 

 

She is particularly passionate about supporting families with children who have complex physical, neurological and developmental needs, and has special interests in working with infants and toddlers, as well as neurological conditions.

 

Jemma takes a fun, yet hard-working approach to therapy, making it engaging,

creative and goal-based.

She is passionate about upskilling families to support children to reach their full potential and optimise meaningful participation in home and school life.

 

Jemma is a member of the APA National Paediatric Physiotherapy Group. 

 

In her free time, Jemma loves to cook, run, practice her handstands,

and play video games!
