Alexa is an enthusiastic physiotherapist who finds it extremely fulfilling to work with kids and their families as she gets to share the journey of a

child’s progress and growth.

Alexa completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University where she interned at MQ Health Kids. Here she had the opportunity to work with children with disabilities in the community, helping them improve their strength and motor skills to better participate at school and family activities.

Her passion for working with kids stems from her extensive experience coaching gymnastics in the US, Canada and Australia.

She enjoys finding new, fun ways to develop children’s skills, which has proved invaluable when working in long-term rehabilitation.

Alexa previously split her time between working in adult and paediatric neurological rehabilitation, but has now joined FPP full time!

She has a particular interest in spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries and cerebral palsy.

Alexa is a registered DMI (Intro Level A) practitioner.

Alexa likes to spend as much time outside as possible, going to the beach,

hiking and bouldering.

She enjoys trying different recipes and will never say no to a sweet dessert!
